Translation from Greek of homilies and interpretations on the Gospels of Matthew and John, by St. John Chrysostom. 178 homilies in all. Leaf 459a, sermon on Luke's Gospel by St. Basil the Great. Leaf 464b, homilies for the days of Passion Week by John Chrysostom, with a Homily on the Burial of Christ (for Good Friday) on leaf 477a and Homily on Joseph of Arimathea (for Holy Saturday) by St. Epiphanius, Bishop of Constantia. The manuscript ends with 77 instructions (starting with those for the Sunday of the Publican and Pharisee), from leaf 488a. Inscription on leaf 1a is the ending of the lengthy scribal inscription beginning on the missing leaf. It contains the scribe's signature and information about the place of copying. Another inscription on the same leaf below indicates the location of the manuscript. Inscription on leaf 634a, about the donation of the manuscript, dated 7125 (i.e. 1617). Without ornamentation.
